The audience has a disconnect as there are many places where the plot loses steam. A little bit of sincere effort could have turned the tables. Its getting evident that his performance is nearing to being termed as loud.<br/><br/>Trisha:: Bollywood gets a taster session of this actress who has string of hits on her resume down-south. She is just about OK as &quot;Khatta Meetha&quot; doesn&#39;t showcase her talents to the fullest glory.<br/><br/>Tinnu Anand &amp; Aruna Irani:: Hardly had any role.<br/><br/>Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever &amp; Asrani:: Should take a break from Priyan movies. Its getting on the nerves honestly.<br/><br/>Khulbhushan Kharbanda:: Bad characterisation. I did not fathom why was he up against Akki all the time.<br/><br/>The original &quot;Khatta Meetha&quot; (directed by Basu Chatterjee in 1978) is a classic in comparison. Khatta Meetha name itself tells the story. Nice comedy fliks with lots of drama and serious issues of corruption. A common honest man how he will suffer in his life. Super movie and i will be watching every time whenever telecast in Television. I will give 100 stars. Hats off to Priyadarshan for making such a wonderful movie. Akshay.
